Where art meets activism

I had the privilege of participating in the Murals That Matter: Activism Through Public Art exhibition at the National Building Museum in partnership with the P.A.I.N.T.S. Institute and the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID). From August 28, 2020, to December 31, 2020, my artwork was featured on the Museum's West Lawn alongside other impactful D.C. street art pieces. These murals, created earlier in the summer in response to social justice protests, served as a compelling testament to the profound impact art can have on our built environment and the imperative need for dialogue and reflection within our nation.
